Creamy dessert of plums, walnuts and cream: easy, healthy and delicious

  1. Place the prunes in a bowl.
  2. Cover with warm water and let stand for 5 minutes.
  3. Drain and dry them well with kitchen paper.

2. Hydrate the gelatin

  1. Mix the gelatin with the cold water.
  2. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until it swells.
  3. Then melt it gently (in a double boiler or in short intervals in the microwave).

3. Mix the cream

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sour cream with the confectioners’ sugar and vanilla sugar.
  2. Add the chopped walnuts and chopped plums.
  3. Quickly fold in the melted gelatin and mix well.

4. Setting up

  1. Pour the mixture into a mold.
  2. Cover the surface with cling film.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  4. Mix the chocolate with the hot cream until you get a smooth sauce.
  5. Unmold the dessert and cover it with the chocolate sauce.
  6. Finish with chopped walnuts for crunch.

A creamy, fresh dessert, full of flavor and also healthy, as it combines fiber from plums, good fats from nuts and a soft cream that does not cloy.
