- Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, allowing flavors to blend and vegetables to become tender.
- Final Touches: Stir in cabbage, carrot, and water chestnuts 30 minutes before serving. Increase heat to high to warm through. Meanwhile, prepare noodles.
- Assemble and Serve: Place chow mein noodles on each plate and top with beef and vegetable mixture.
