Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Steak
Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels to help them sear and absorb the marinade better.
Step 2: Make the Marinade
In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper.
Step 3: Layer in the Crockpot
Place the steak bites in the crockpot and pour the marinade over them. Gently stir to coat evenly.
Add the butter pieces on top.
Step 4: Cook
Cover and cook:
On LOW for 4–5 hours
On HIGH for 2–3 hours
Until steak is tender. Avoid overcooking to prevent toughness.
Step 5: Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle with parsley (optional) and serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, or crusty bread.
