Step 1: Preheat Oven and Prep Pan
Preheat your oven to (). Lightly grease a baking pan.
Step 2: Combine Wet Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the following:
- The entire can of crushed pineapple with its juice
- The cup of sugar
- The 2 eggs
- The 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- The 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
Mix until all ingredients are well combined and the cornstarch is fully dissolved.
Step 3: Top and Bake
Transfer the entire pineapple mixture into the prepared baking pan.
Add the Topping:
- Evenly place the tablespoons of butter pats across the entire surface of the pineapple mixture.
- Sprinkle the entire surface with the 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
Step 4: Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the edges begin to turn golden brown and the center of the bake is set (it should no longer be jiggly).
Serving:
- Serve warm. This pineapple bake is delicious on its own or paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream!
