1/4 c canola oil
1/4 cup unsalted butter (soft)
1 teaspoon of sugar
2 large eggs (room temperature)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter*
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon molasses
1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
1/4 cup of sugar
1/4 C brown sugar (packed)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
* I use 1/2 cup whole milk mixed with 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar as a substitute for the curds.
