4 chicken legs
1 piece of fresh ginger (about the size of your thumb)
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
8 cups of water
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1- Clean the paws, remove the claws and skin.
2- Place the legs, ginger, onion and garlic cloves in a large pot.
3- Pour water and bring to a boil.
4- Reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 hours, or until meat falls away from the bone easily.
5- Remove the legs from the pot and remove the bones. Add the meat back to the soup, season with salt and pepper to taste.
And that’s it! Serve hot and enjoy delicious chicken leg soup with ginger.
