Best Sheet Washing Tips
Now that you know how often to wash your sheets, here are some tips for getting them clean:
Use the hottest water temperature safe for your sheets (check the care label). Hot water kills most germs and dust mites.
Wash sheets alone to prevent other items from tangling and to ensure they move freely in the washer.
If possible, line dry your sheets outside. Sunshine acts as a natural disinfectant and brightens whites. If line drying isn’t an option, tumble dry on low.
Remember, pillows should also be washed every three to six months to keep them fresh and clean.
