Vinegar and baking soda
Vinegar and baking soda are used in many areas, especially to neutralize bad odors. If you put them in a washing machine, not only the towels but also the clothes will smell.

citric acid
Instead of vinegar , you can also scent your towels with citric acid. Just dissolve 50 g of citric acid in 300 ml of water. You can also add 5 drops of your favorite essential oil. Put everything in the washing machine, you will be surprised by the result.

lemon juice
To get better towels you can also use lemon during washing. The juice of this fruit not only gives a fresh scent to your towels, but also increases the cleaning power of your laundry and makes it whiter .

Clean the washing machine
To avoid problems and bad smells, it is recommended to wash the towels at higher temperatures and always use programs with at least 1200 rpm. If well wrung out, there will be no stagnation and therefore unpleasant odors. In addition, it is recommended to keep the machine clean from time to time by washing it at high temperatures to maintain its effectiveness. If you wish, you can add 150 g of citric acid and 500 ml of water to ensure impeccable cleaning . When drying towels in winter, remember to always leave a window open to avoid unpleasant odors.
