The solution to scattered cables? The cardboard roll.
The toilet paper roll can also come to our aid because of the multitude of cables that often, scattered in drawers or boxes, end up knotted together, making it impossible to find them quickly and, above all, to use them up. Simply roll the cable around itself, giving it a slightly elongated shape, and then insert it inside the roll of paper. Here too, depending on the size and length of the cables, you can choose whether to use the entire roll or cut it into smaller pieces.
It can also be useful to write on the roll itself what type of cable it is, so that it is easier to identify.
Cardboard rolls for sorting cables
Another optimal use of the cardboard roll is to act as a “shuttle” for scattered threads . Simply roll the loose thread around the roll to keep it tidy and well untangled. But for better fixation, you can make a small vertical cut at one end of the roll, through which you can pass the end of the thread and then start to roll . You can then use the same cut (or another) to fix the upper end of the thread as well. This way you will be more than sure that the thread will not come undone.
The uses of the cardboard roll in gardening
If you love gardening, the cardboard toilet paper roll will also be useful in this area. If you spread it on the ground, watering it will allow the water to be retained for longer and the soil to be hydrated for longer. Plants that require the soil to always be well hydrated will grow better and faster. In addition, since the cardboard roll is biodegradable, you will not have to worry about removing it since it will have dissolved in about a year.
