Directions
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to ensure the pizza rolls bake evenly and don’t stick.
Prepare the Dough:
Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut it into small rectangles, ensuring each piece is the right size to hold your fillings without being too bulky.
Fill and Roll:
Spread a small amount of pizza sauce on each rectangle.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Add a few mini pepperoni slices and a small amount of cooked sausage to each rectangle.
Carefully roll up each rectangle, pinching the edges together to seal the fillings inside.
Coat with Doritos:
In a bowl, combine the crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos, melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Roll each pizza roll in the Doritos mixture until fully coated, adding a crunchy texture and a burst of flavor to the rolls.
Bake:
Place the coated pizza rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
Enjoy the Doritos Pizza Rolls warm, ideally fresh out of the oven. Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping if desired.
