Easy Garlic Bread with Sliced Bread

Instructions

Preparing the garlic butter spread:

  • Soften your butter (or alternative) at room temperature.
  • Mince 2-3 cloves of garlic per 1/2 cup of butter.
  • Mix in your chosen herbs and seasonings.
  • Blend everything together until smooth and fragrant.
  • Applying the spread:

    • Lay out your sliced bread on a baking sheet.
    • Generously slather each slice with your garlic butter mixture.
    • Make sure to spread it all the way to the edges – we want flavor in every bite!
    • Baking vs. broiling:

      • For a crispy exterior and soft interior, bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes.
      • Want it extra crispy? Broil for 2-3 minutes, but watch it like a hawk – it can burn quickly!
      • Achieving the perfect crispiness:

          • For extra crunch, try toasting the bread lightly before adding the garlic butter.
          • Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet – give each slice some space to crisp up.
