Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set it aside.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground meat with the chopped onion and minced garlic until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
3. In a large bowl, mix together the cooked meat mixture, sliced potatoes, carrots, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Add the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, stirring until well combined.
4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Cover with foil.
5. Bake the covered dish for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
6. Return to the oven uncovered and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the vegetables are tender.
7. Allow the casserole to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
