Easy Mint Sorbet Recipe
🧾 Ingredients
Fresh mint leaves – 1 cup, tightly packed (about 30–40 grams)
Water – 2 cups (480 ml)
Granulated sugar – 3/4 cup (150 grams)
Lemon juice – 2 tablespoons (freshly squeezed)
2 tbsp of natural mint extract (for stronger flavor)
👩🍳 Instructions
Prepare the syrup:
In a medium saucepan, combine the water and sugar.
Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is fully dissolved (about 3–5 minutes).
Once the syrup is clear, remove from heat.
Infuse the mint:
Add the mint leaves to the hot syrup.
Cover and let steep for 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on how strong you want the mint flavor.
Blend and strain:
