In a bowl, mix the warm milksugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy. This ensures the yeast is alive and ready to work.

2. Mix the Batter

Add the eggflour, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir with a spoon until a sticky, elastic batter forms. Let the dough rest for 30–40 minutes in a warm place, covered with a towel.

3. Fry the Dough

Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot over medium heat (about 350°F/175°C). Drop spoonfuls of the dough into the oil and fry until golden on all sides, about 2–3 minutes per side.

4. Drain & Serve

Remove the balls and place them on a paper towel-lined plate. Dust with powdered sugar while warm or serve plain.
