Sodium bicarbonate. Spread the product directly on the rust stains on the floor and leave to act for a few hours. Then use a damp cloth to remove the rust. If it doesn’t come off, make a paste by mixing water and baking soda and rub well on the stain.
Vinegar and salt. Mix a little apple cider vinegar with coarse salt until the mixture is almost creamy and grainy. Apply to the rust stain and leave for an hour. Finally, remove the vinegar and salt residue and clean with a damp cloth.
Lemon and borax. This combination is one of the most effective against rust stains. Mix a little lemon juice with two tablespoons of borax (wear gloves and a mask), mix well and apply directly to the stains. Leave it on for an hour, then clean and dry well.
