The singer has been quietly spending the summer recuperating at home and feels positive about his progress in healing and recovery so far. Fans hope Elton John recovers soon and shared their well-wishes.

Despite this health scare, John remains optimistic and grateful for the support he’s received, reminding everyone why he’s still a beloved star both on and off the stage.

While on stage, John never performs without his sunglasses. “I tried it in the early Eighties but I felt exposed. Glasses give me confidence. I’m not me without them,” he disclosed.
