In 2023, the 77-year-old had another health incident after taking a fall at his villa in Nice, France, and was briefly hospitalized. However, he was later discharged.

His representative confirmed that after a precautionary visit to a local hospital for checkups, he was released the morning after he fell and was taken back home, in good health. In 2022, fans expressed concern over John’s health after tabloids circulated images of him in a wheelchair.

He turned to Instagram to address the speculations, writing, “The true story is that I’m in top health, loving my shows and playing and singing at my very best. I give 100% every night and never want to disappoint, especially after everyone has waited so long to get back to seeing shows.”

The talented singer expressed his gratitude, noting that the audience’s response to every show he has hosted has been extraordinary, and he’s cherishing every moment of it.
