Nacho cheese sauce (optional) ½ cup
Sour cream ½ cup
Guacamole ½ cup
Salsa or pico de gallo ½ cup
Sliced black olives (optional) 1 small can
Pickled jalapeños ¼ cup
Diced tomato 1 small
Chopped green onions 2-3
Fresh cilantro (optional) For garnish
Instructions:
Cook the Beef: Brown the ground beef in a skillet, then drain off excess grease. Add taco seasoning and water, simmer until the flavors are combined.
Preheat Oven: Set oven to 375°F (190°C).
Layer the Nachos: Spread tortilla chips on a baking sheet.
Add Toppings: Top with cooked beef, refried beans (if using), and shredded cheese. Drizzle with nacho cheese sauce (optional).
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Add Cold Toppings: Top with sour cream, guacamole, salsa, olives, jalapeños, tomatoes, green onions, and cilantro.
