“Rock and Roll’s not been too kind to them,” Kid Rock said. “We’re trying to provide something for these smaller towns where we have a lot more freedom to do things that we might not be able to do in the bigger cities, and especially to work with the local people there, whether it could be police, fire fighters, city councils, whatever.”
He said that he “wanted to get on the same page” and had invited some of these people to his Nashville home to talk through the idea to “create a great experience for people.” “We want the cities to win,” he said.
