For some of those infected, the disease is mild, almost asymptomatic. For others, however, the disease is more prolonged, leading to complications and hospitalization.
“It’s individual. Usually patients report fatigue, runny nose, severe headache. Now the so-called severe stabbing pain in the throat is very characteristic,” Assoc. Prof. Batselova explained to Focus.
