For a milder flavor, add dried parsley and stir it into the sauce. This step is optional and can be omitted if desired. Once the sauce is well blended, cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer to an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, and ideally overnight, to allow the flavors to blend.
Before serving, give the sauce a quick stir to combine. If desired, garnish with chopped roasted red peppers or a sprinkle of parsley.
Serve the chili cheese sauce with your favorite crackers, tortilla chips, or veggie sticks. Enjoy!
