Gradually add the flour to the mixture, kneading until a slightly sticky dough forms.
Lightly flour a clean surface, and roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness. Using a round cookie cutter or the rim of a glass, cut out circles of dough.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the fritters to the oil, frying until golden brown on both sides, ensuring they are cooked through.
Remove the fritters from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
Serve the fritters hot, garnished with additional chopped parsley and dill if desired. Enjoy this delightful Turkish-inspired dish as a snack or appetizer!
