2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
1 cup softened butter

8 ounces softened cream cheese
1.5 cups granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 eggs
1.5 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
