Prepare the solution
Mix 1 cup of white vinegar with 3 cups of cold water in a large bowl.
Soak the strawberries
Add the strawberries and let them soak for 5 minutes. This kills bacteria and mold spores.
Drain and rinse
Drain the strawberries in a colander and rinse briefly under cold water to remove vinegar smell.
Dry them completely
Gently pat them dry with paper towels or a clean cloth. They must be fully dry before storing!
Store properly
Line a container with a paper towel. Place the strawberries in a single layer, cover, and refrigerate.
For best results, use a glass jar with a tight lid — they’ll stay fresh up to 7 days!
✨ Bonus Tip:
Don’t hull or cut the strawberries before storing — always keep them whole.
