🕷️ Someone Help Me Understand What I Found on My Window 😳
Left this morning to drop my kids off at school, glanced to my right, and saw this octopus-looking freaky thing clinging to my window. I’ve watched way too many horror movies where people touch weird things and immediately regret it — so yeah, I kept my distance.
By the time I got back, it had flown off… which somehow made it even worse. Now I’m just sitting here wondering what did I just witness?
Ran it through Google Lens, and apparently it’s a hag moth caterpillar — also known as a monkey slug. 🐛
Turns out it can irritate your skin if you touch it, which makes total sense because it looks like something straight out of a sci-fi movie.
Moral of the story: If it looks soft, fuzzy, or remotely alien — don’t touch it.
