Found This Underneath My Patio Furniture Cover — What Is It?

It was a typical sunny afternoon. I decided to tidy up the patio, brushing off the dust from my furniture and straightening the cushions. But when I lifted the cover from one of the chairs, I found something that made me stop in my tracks.
