Instructions:
Step 1: Soften the Marshmallows
Place the mini marshmallows and melted butter in a large microwave-safe bowl. Heat on high for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the marshmallows are puffed up. Stir thoroughly until smooth.
Step 2: Melt the Chocolate
In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second bursts, stirring after each interval, until fully melted and silky.
Step 3: Mix Together
Pour the melted white chocolate into the marshmallow mixture. Stir until everything is fully combined and forms a thick, cohesive mixture.
Step 4: Add the Gumdrops
Fold in the chopped red and green gumdrops, making sure they are evenly spread throughout the nougat.
Step 5: Shape the Bars
Line a baking pan with parchment paper or foil, leaving extra over the sides for easy lifting later. Press the nougat mixture into the pan in an even layer using a spatula or your hands.
Step 6: Chill to Set
Refrigerate the pan for 1 to 2 hours, or until the nougat has firmed up completely.
Step 7: Cut and Enjoy
Once set, lift the nougat out of the pan using the paper overhang. Place it on a cutting board and slice into bars or squares with a sharp knife.
