Bread: For best results, use stale bread, such as log, brioche or toast.

Baking: You can also bake the toasts in the oven. Place the soaked bread slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 180°C for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
Serving: You can serve the toasts with fresh fruit, such as strawberries, raspberries or bananas.
Croque Monsieur: A savory version of French toast, where slices of bread are filled with ham and cheese and then fried.
Important:
Do not soak the slices of bread in the egg mixture for too long, as they will become soggy.
The pan should be hot enough so that the toasts cook quickly and do not absorb oil.
Serve the toasts immediately so that they are warm and crispy.
