Keeping parsley fresh for weeks can be tricky, but chefs rely on simple techniques to extend its shelf life. The bowl method is one of the most effective ways, but here are a few alternatives too.
Simple Storage Method
Wrap parsley in a damp, unprinted napkin, seal it in an airtight bag, and store in the fridge. This keeps the leaves intact and flavorful for days.
Freezing Parsley
Wash and dry thoroughly, then chop finely or pulse in a food processor. Fill ice cube trays with parsley, drizzle a little extra virgin olive oil, and freeze. Pop out cubes whenever you need fresh flavor in cooking.
