What About Ceramics, Stone, and Porcelain?

Watch out for CSP: ceramics, stone, and porcelain. Many people don’t know what to do with old jenever crocks or sometimes even throw cups and plates into the bottle bank. But these items do not belong there. They should go in general waste or be taken to a recycling center.

Bottle Bank or Not? It’s Still Confusing

Sorting waste can be tricky. For example, greasy pizza boxes don’t belong in paper recycling – they go in general waste. And milk cartons? Those go with PMD (plastic, metal, and drink cartons) due to their plastic lining.
