This quick and easy recipe for grilled lemon garlic shrimp skewers is perfect for a light and flavorful meal. The shrimp are marinated in a zesty lemon and garlic mixture, then grilled to perfection. Garnish with fresh parsley for an extra touch of flavor.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 lemons, juiced and zested
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Wooden skewers soaked in water
Preparation:
- In a bowl, combine lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, olive oil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade and let it rest in the fridge for 15 to 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated shrimp onto the soaked skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until the shrimp are opaque and slightly browned.
