These are the components from which gas escapes. Afterward, the ignition of the spark burns the fuel, creating a flame, which makes cooking possible. Therefore, if these are clogged with cooking grease, they won’t work properly, and gas leaks may occur.
Cleaning them isn’t that difficult. First, you need to remove the grates and burners. On some models, the nozzles aren’t immediately present, so you’ll need a screwdriver just in case to unscrew them and clean them better. Once you’ve got everything ready, all you need is a lemon.
Take a lemon and cut it in half. Remove all the seeds and pour a few drops onto the nozzle. With a larger burner, there may also be several. Let it sit for a few minutes, then take a very fine needle and insert it into the nozzle.
As you’ll see, the nozzle is now much clearer, and you can repeat the process. Then, place a tissue inside and remove the excess lemon juice. You’ll probably find that your tissues are dirty, as the lemon juice will also dissolve any accumulated grease.
Now you can reassemble everything and check that everything is working properly. This way, the flame should stand out better and be easier to adjust. Now all that’s left is to check if the gas cylinder will last at least four more months. All you have to do is try and believe it.
