Step 1: Get the things you need.
Before we start, make sure you have the following items nearby:
Isopropyl alcohol with a concentration of at least 70%.
Bottle that sprays
A cloth or sponge that is free of dirt or stains.
Vacuum cleaner with a tool for cleaning furniture.
Step 2: Make the Alcohol Mixture
Pour isopropyl alcohol into the spray bottle, making sure it is at least 70% concentrated for best results.
Step 3: Clean your mattress with a vacuum cleaner.
Use the special tool on your vacuum cleaner to clean your mattress thoroughly. Be sure to carefully check the places where bed bugs and dust mites usually hide, like seams, edges, and corners.
Step 4: Apply the alcohol spray.
Now, spray the alcohol solution evenly on the whole mattress. Remember to cover the top, sides, and bottom. The alcohol will do its job and eliminate any bed bugs, dust mites, or their eggs.
Step 5: Allow it to dry.
Being patient is very important in this situation. Let the alcohol dry completely before moving on to the next step. It might take a few hours, but it will be worth it.
