Grandma’s Potatoes Recipe
Ingredients:
4-5 large potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a blend of cheddar and mozzarella)
1 cup sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom for a vegetarian version)
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup melted butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
1 cup cornflakes or crushed Ritz crackers (for topping)
1-2 tablespoons melted butter (for topping)
