Grandma’s tip: easily clean your iron and restore its shine in one easy step

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons bicarbonate
  • 80 ml cold water
  • A soft cloth

Method:

  1. Mix baking soda and water to form a thick paste.
  2. Spread this paste on the sole, especially on the stained areas.
  3. Leave on for about 10 minutes.
  4. Rub gently with a damp cloth to remove any residue.
  5. Wipe with a clean, dry cloth.

Bonus tip   : If the stains remain, rub lightly with a little white wine vinegar – a very effective natural degreaser!
