- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups (480ml) beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup (150g) frozen peas and carrots mix (optional)
