Yes, you heard that right—Taylor Swift, the global music sensation with a fanbase so dedicated they could probably form their own nation, was shown the door at Fieri’s flagship restaurant after endorsing Harris in the 2024 presidential race. And, in true Fieri fashion, the exit wasn’t subtle.
According to witnesses, Fieri himself strolled up to Swift’s table, decked out in his trademark flames and sunglasses combo, and delivered the news: “Don’t come back here, you wokes.”
The drama started after Swift posted a heartfelt endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris on her Instagram, calling Harris “the leader America needs” and encouraging her fans to vote for the Democratic candidate. Swift’s endorsement, while widely praised by some, didn’t exactly sit well with everyone—including Fieri, who apparently isn’t on the same political wavelength as the Eras tour queen.
Fans of Fieri’s brand of all-American, down-home cooking were used to seeing him tour greasy spoon diners and flipping burgers on national TV. But no one expected him to flip the table on Swift.
