Pruning:
Remove leaves and suckers below the withers during hilling. For four-branched pruning, leave a stem on each main branch and discard deformed or damaged fruits.
Pests:
Watch for pests like aphids, potato beetles, red spiders, and diseases such as alternaria, nematodes, and botrytis.
Harvesting:
Harvest when the eggplant appears shiny and press lightly with your thumb. If the shell sinks but returns to its original shape, it is ready. Avoid harvesting if it does not sink or remains indented.
Following these guidelines will help you cultivate healthy and productive eggplants.
