Here’s what it means when eggs have a white spot
Eggs, a protein-rich food, are very nutritious and are very easy and quick to cook. They are used in many diets, thanks to their benefits. Eggs are a source of choline, a substance that helps promote proper brain function.
Contrary to popular belief, eggs are not dangerous for your heart, they can be eaten in moderation.
If you eat eggs very often, you have probably noticed a small white thread inside the egg. This is the chalaza, a filament that attaches or suspends the egg yolk and keeps it in the center of the white. It also gives us information about the freshness of the egg, the thicker it is, the fresher the egg. So if you find these filaments in your eggs, don’t throw them away!
Zoom on the structure of the egg:
Among the components of the egg, we can cite: the shell, the membrane, the white (albumen), the yolk (yolk) and the chalaza.
The shell: it is the envelope covering the egg, it is composed of carbonates, calcium and magnesium phosphates. It is able to ensure the exchange of gases through its pores while limiting the penetration of microbes.
