Here’s what it means when eggs have a white spot

This is the chalaza, a filament that attaches or suspends the egg yolk and keeps it in the center of the white. It also gives us information about the freshness of the egg, the thicker it is, the fresher the egg. So if you find these filaments in your eggs, don’t throw them away!
