1. Prepare the Starter
In a bowl, mix the yeast, water, and 125g of flour.
Cover the bowl and let it rest for 30 to 60 minutes until bubbly.
2. Make the Dough
Add salt and the remaining 250g of flour to the starter mixture.
Mix well until combined.
3. First Rise
Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
4. Shape the Baguettes
Divide the dough into 3 equal parts.
Shape each part into a baguette.
5. Second Rise
Cover the shaped baguettes and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
6. Prepare for Baking
Make shallow cuts on top of each baguette using a sharp knife.
7. Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
