Preparation:
In a saucepan, bring the milk to a boil over medium heat.
Add the white vinegar and salt, stirring gently for about 2-3 minutes until the milk starts to curdle and small curds form.
Remove from heat and let sit for about 5 minutes.
Place a sieve lined with cheesecloth or a clean towel over a large bowl and gently pour the curd mixture into the sieve.
Gently press to remove excess liquid, then discard it.
Place the cheese in a bowl and season with pepper.
Mix the cheese until creamy in texture.
If desired, you can add chopped chives for garnish.
Serve warm and enjoy your delicious homemade cream cheese!
