🧂 Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard (optional, for texture)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional, for color)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Season the Pork Chops
Pat chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Sear the Pork Chops
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and sear for 3–4 minutes per side, or until nicely browned. Remove chops and set aside.
  3. Make the Honey Mustard Sauce
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard (if using), honey, and vinegar. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, until slightly thickened.
  4. Return the Chops & Glaze
Return pork chops to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for another 5–7 minutes, or until pork reaches an internal temp of 145°F (63°C).
  5. Rest & Serve
Remove from heat, let rest for 5 minutes, then serve with extra sauce drizzled on top.

📝 Tips & Variations

  • Bone-In vs. Boneless: Both work! Just adjust cooking time — bone-in may need a few extra minutes.
  • Make it Creamy: Stir in a splash of cream or a pat of butter at the end for a rich finish.
  • Grill It: Grill the chops, then brush with warm sauce for a smoky twist.
  • Meal Prep Friendly: Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days — they reheat beautifully.
