Ways to properly clean the stove eyes to avoid clogging:
- You can use some chlorine with salt added and soak the stove eyes in them for a quarter of an hour, then use a sponge or wire to clean the stove eyes of anything stuck in them.
- If there are many marks and black spots on the eyes of the stove, you can get rid of them easily as well, as you can use baking soda for this matter. Put a little baking soda on the eyes of the stove, then add water and boil them. It is preferable that the water be boiled and very hot and leave it for a period of time. Less than a quarter of an hour, then also use the sponge to get rid of any residue stuck on the stove eyes and you will get very clean and shiny stove eyes as if they were new.
- You can also use the boiling water method to clean the stove eyes. Soak the stove eyes in boiling water for half an hour and change the water and replace it with clean hot water every ten minutes, and you will get shiny, clean stove eyes.
- It is also possible to use a mixture of vinegar and lemon, adding them to boiling water, soaking the eyes of the stove to be cleaned for a quarter or a third of an hour, and rubbing the eyes of the stove well with a sponge or wire until they are clean and shiny again.
- After you clean the stove eyes in any way, you must wash them with water and then dry them completely and well so that they are not exposed to rust as a result of placing them in water.
