Even after a thorough cleaning of the toilet, unpleasant odors can still remain. To get rid of these stubborn odors, you can use two well-known ingredients. Baking soda and white vinegar unclog the drain, detect and eliminate unpleasant odors and make the toilet pleasant and odorless again.
Citric Acid to Eliminate
Bad Odors from Toilets Citric acid, derived from citrus fruits, is used in many culinary applications. It is also an excellent cleaning agent for cleaning pipes, descaling and limiting the formation of sediment.
To use it, pour two tablespoons of citric acid into the toilet bowl and let it sit overnight. The next morning, flush the toilet and you’re done.
