We are all too aware that one ant may conceal 100 others. Everybody has this mental (or visual!) picture of a colony of insects traveling in unison! So what natural defenses are there against an ant invasion?
1. LEMON
Lemons have repelling qualities as well. Place lemon peels on window sills or corners, and dab a little lemon juice where ants are moving through.
Cinnamon is number two.
Do you often utilize it to make your food taste better? Note that it works exactly as well as lavender to repel ants. A choice not to be disregarded!
3) ESSENTIAL OILS
Essential oils, which are prized for their strong aroma, are not only therapeutic. They are adept in ant-hunting. All you need to do is mist half a liter of water mixed with around twenty peppermint and ten sweet almond drops.
4. COFFEE LANDS
The acidity of the coffee grounds and its placement at the base of the walls, on the ground, or on saucers will keep ants from invading.
5. CHALK
This is a natural way to get rid of ants. Ants dislike chalk, did you know that? Thus, create an ant dam right away. In what way? It’s quite easy. All you have to do is draw a line in chalk. You may rest easy knowing that the ants won’t go over the line.
