Wash pillows every three months
Pillows accumulate a large amount of mites, bacteria and dead cells. It is therefore advisable to wash them every three months at 60°C if they are synthetic. For feather pillows, dry cleaning is recommended. Proper drying is essential to prevent the formation of mold.
Maintain the mattress regularly
The mattress is also a hotbed of dust and bacteria. To keep it clean:
Vacuum it every six months to remove dust and mites.
Ventilate it regularly by leaving the windows open.
If stained, clean with a damp cloth and mild soap , then allow to dry completely before replacing the sheets.
Regular bedding maintenance contributes to better sleep quality and a healthier environment. By adopting these good practices, you reduce the risk of allergies and extend the life of your sheets, pillows and mattresses.
