Step 1
To start, remove the sheet completely, then take a strainer and add a generous amount of baking soda. Use it to sprinkle baking soda all over the mattress evenly, making sure it is completely covered. (You can also put the baking soda inside a shaker and use it in place of a sieve.) You can also brush or wipe the baking soda to make sure it is well absorbed.
Step 2
Now, leave it for five hours. Once done, vacuum up the baking soda completely. This way, you will be able to remove bad odors and moisture from your mattress. Repeat this process every six to eight weeks.
