How do you clean heavily soiled grills?
While cleaning your gas burners is essential, the same applies to grills, which require regular maintenance. For superficial stains, a run through the dishwasher is enough to remove the residue. If the stain is encrusted and has accumulated over several days, it’s advisable to opt for a more radical solution.
To remove all residues stuck to the walls you will need:
2 cups white vinegar
2 tablespoons baking soda
1/2 cup coarse salt
What’s next?
Mix the white vinegar, baking soda, and coarse salt in a basin large enough to submerge your grills.
Let them soak overnight to dissolve the grime.
Rinse the grills with clean water the next morning to restore their shiny surfaces.
If the residue is still stuck to the grates, scrub them with a scouring pad and a little dish soap. Cleanliness guaranteed!
