Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cookie Mixture:
    • Crush the cookies into fine crumbs and mix them with 120g of chopped peanuts in a large bowl.
  2. Make the Cocoa Mixture:
    • In a saucepan, combine the sugar, cocoa powder, and milk.
    • Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring continuously to dissolve the sugar and cocoa.
    • Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
    • Remove from heat and add the butter and a pinch of vanillin, stirring until the butter is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
    • Allow the cocoa mixture to cool to room temperature.
  3. Form the Balls:
    • Pour the cooled cocoa mixture over the cookie and peanut mixture.
    • Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
    • Lubricate your hands with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
    • Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a walnut.
    • Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
    • Refrigerate for 1 hour to firm up.
  4. Coat with Chocolate:
    • In a double boiler or microwave, melt the dark chocolate and milk chocolate together with the vegetable oil, stirring until smooth.
    • Dip each cookie ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated.
    • Place the chocolate-coated balls back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Garnish and Chill:
    • Sprinkle the tops of the coated balls with the remaining chopped peanuts for garnish.
    • Place the tray in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to set the chocolate.
  6. Serve:
    • Once the chocolate is set, the cookie balls are ready to serve.
    • Enjoy these delicious treats chilled or at room temperature.
