- Prepare the Cookie Mixture:
- Crush the cookies into fine crumbs and mix them with 120g of chopped peanuts in a large bowl.
- Make the Cocoa Mixture:
- In a saucepan, combine the sugar, cocoa powder, and milk.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring continuously to dissolve the sugar and cocoa.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add the butter and a pinch of vanillin, stirring until the butter is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Allow the cocoa mixture to cool to room temperature.
- Form the Balls:
- Pour the cooled cocoa mixture over the cookie and peanut mixture.
- Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
- Lubricate your hands with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
- Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a walnut.
- Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour to firm up.
- Coat with Chocolate:
- In a double boiler or microwave, melt the dark chocolate and milk chocolate together with the vegetable oil, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each cookie ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated.
- Place the chocolate-coated balls back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Garnish and Chill:
- Sprinkle the tops of the coated balls with the remaining chopped peanuts for garnish.
- Place the tray in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to set the chocolate.
- Serve:
- Once the chocolate is set, the cookie balls are ready to serve.
- Enjoy these delicious treats chilled or at room temperature.
